I did too. Infact I got some grief from my fellow soldiers because I did the best job I possibly could. I worked in the medical field. I would have stayed in if it weren't for all the moving around. Thanks to all vets.

Thank you very much, veterans.

I also want to thank all the non-veterans who paid the taxes that paid for all my adventures in exotic places I'd never have gone on my own!  Not to mention exposing me to various exotic diseases.

On a more serious note, the experiences exposed me to numerous people of different backgrounds and cultures, both in the US and other countries, that the vast majority of my non-vet friends have never experienced, opening my eyes and mind tremendously over the decades.
