Startups Interuptus....what Can be done?

My 2007 Norge has had intermittent starting problems when cold, the dash fires up as normal but a click and no start. Once it starts the first time and gets warm there are no problems. I pulled the year-old battery, had it load tested, it's fine. Battery connections are nice and clean. I read the entire thread, sounds as if startups interuptus occurs mainly with hot temps. I am not a DIY mechanic, trying to decide if I should pay to have it gone through. Any thoughts? I think I answered my own question, will likely have it looked at before leaving for the rally next month.

Run a hot wire button & be done !!!!!! End of issue, done many, all the way back, every model. If you ride Guzzi junk, you treat it like junk.
 Better yet CALL that 800 # & tell Guzzi what you think.

 I agree and installed a hot button JIC I need it.  My bike starts either way.  The hot button is not faster as expected but taking no chances with also having the yellow wire relay snipped and fused to +battery post.

Good to have a backup if needed when the system don't cooperate.
