Italian "cousins"
« on: August 13, 2024, 07:33:45 PM »
Put a radiator guard on the V100, figured I'd take a pic of the "cousins" while I had them all out.  I think Piaggio owns Aprilia and Guzzi now(?), so maybe the bikes are more like step-sisters, who knows !

…I think Piaggio owns Aprilia and Guzzi now(?)…

Yeah…just within the last couple years.

…20 years now, to be precise, heh

(…and before that, Aprilia owned Guzzi for a hot minute)

I used to call that bike Donky cause I couldn't pronounce Dorsoduro, 750's were a hoot. Plastic water pump failures, but easy to get to.

Nice looking pair of bikes...  but on mention of the gorgeous Lancia... ?  just need to ad an Alfa and we would have the entire lust-full family photo !

Lancia Zagato Beta Spyder!
I've never seen one on the road.
Luckily.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Kudos to you for owning such a rare Italian Lancia.

Lancia?

Yup, 1981 Lancia Zagato.  Not a fast car by any means, handling is average, but it sure gets people talking !
