The space continues to grow with more airplanes. As a side dish they are adding motors from the dinosaur age, with one from the Wright bros…AND cockpits available for sitting, AND flight simulators of several kinds…now I wish I had taken more fotos. North of Hartford CT and south of Springfield MA, near Bradley airport

Steerman motor (Stearman?) on a training biplane

Click to read the plaque on the Wright R3350…fuel injection

register now png

You think you got problems…

Notice the Steerman tucked under the wing of the Stratofortress..alo ng with just the tip of a Corsair wing hiding behind it

Emilia Earhart model on the left. Highly modified P51 Mustang post war racing winner in yellow tucked below the seaplane

Good place to hide from the weather if needed

The engine in the first picture is a Continental 220 if I remember correctly. The boss had a Stearman trainer, his had a Lycoming engine. He bumped the horsepower substantially with higher compression pistons. He has passed, I have no idea what happened to the plane.

A very cool place, indeed. Back of house where the projects are being worked on is even better. A bud and I, both AF vets got a tour a couple years ago.
