Handlebar controls
« on: October 17, 2024, 02:11:44 PM »
Two questions on handlebar controls.

1. I'm running the original handlebar controls on the convert. The run and cut off switch is getting a bit wonky. I've had it apart and cleaned when I restored the bike three or four years ago. I'd like to keep it as original looking as possible. I've seen a couple replacement units but they look like kids toys with the giant buttons. Anyone have a vendor for something original looking that would be plug and play? Not interested in doing any cutting of harnesses or plugs.

2. Call me weird, but I like the handlebar controls on the Griso and 1200 Sport. I've also gotten used to them and went on the Norge, I have to do a little mental remapping for the controls to be intuitive.

I wouldn't expect the controls from the griso to be plug and Play, but being that the Norge and 1200 sport share the same basic architecture dash etc (though with different pinouts on the dash) I'm wondering if anyone knows if the 1200 sport controls would work plug and Play on a 2012 Norge.
