« on: November 29, 2024, 08:55:36 PM »
This is a great story,in all the years I have been reading about motorcycling I never heard her story. She just passed away this week along with Malcom Smith who also died this week.

What. a. woman! I was also blown away that I had never heard of her before. Down voting the Internet for not providing me the content prior! I now have new shop art to get! RIP Mary!

Likewise I had not heard of her before this. I suspect you had either live out west and attend the races or be an AMA member and maybe read about her but it sounds like even the AMA wasn’t ready to accept and recognize her. Indeed a remarkable person.

I don't remember hearing about her either. I have been a member of AMA off and on and don't recall reading anything about her. It is too bad that she didn't get more or even some accolades.
