Radial tire sizes
« on: February 25, 2025, 02:17:05 PM »
Does any one here know of radial tire sizes 90/90-18, 100/90-18, 100/80-18, 110/90-18, 110/80-18, or equivalent metric sizes ? I can't use anything smaller or larger.

Some of those sizes are available in the Continental Classic Attack radial tire series, here:

Available wherever you buy motorcycle tires.

I called continental about "classic Attack", they told me they were discontinued many years ago. Dealers have old stock or Conti has started new production.

In either case, they seem to be available on various websites. For myself, I went back to bias ply tires after the classic attacks wore out.

I put an Avon Spirit on the front of my V7, very happy with it. I couldn't find a matching rear so I put an Avon (I think) Road Rider on the rear. They work well together. I will go out to the shop later to verify.

I replaced the OEM Pirellis that came on a 2018 Triumph Street Twin 900 I used to have, use a set of these.  I went up a size in the front, but kept the stock rear size.  I  think it might have been a 110/80-18 front (from a 100/90), and a 150/70-17 rear?
