Accuracy of new Stelvio/Mandello Gas gauge to empty
« on: March 28, 2025, 05:15:34 PM »
Forgot to ask this on my initial post for my new Stelvio. For those that have this or I suppose the V100, how accurate the gas gauge until it hits empty?

I recall on my V85TT, I was off by I think 90 miles. I  know when the last bar or no bar was shown or flashing, I could still 60-90 miles.

I'm hoping these new 24s are more accurate

If the light comes on and it takes a gallon does that mean you still have 4 or 5 gallons in the tank?

I'm sure he meant when the light comes on there is 1 gallon remaining. That is how mine is, so around 40-45 miles.

I ran out of gas twice on my Mandello. Documented in this thread, https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=122043.msg1892939#msg1892939 . Once the reserve light comes on, I now need to find a gas station within 35 miles, max.

There’s a post on how to fix that for the V85
