Back around 1969, at Andres Farm in Fishkill, NY, my cousin and I used to watch the CZ-Jawa's race around the scrambles dirt track, along with the Ossa's, Montesa's, Maico's Bultaco's and Husqvarna's.
I still remember the smell of 2-stroke racing caster wafting through the air. Those were the days...

A friend of mine has an early 70's CZ250 in his barn that I have been trying to buy for the last 30 years but he will not sell. Also along with his project 71 911 and a 30's Ford flat bed truck.

This '73 250 Enduro came out of a barn in SW VA. It was destined for the scrapper if I hadn't "saved" it. Gave it to a friend of Czech/German ancestry. Sat at least 20 years with no sparkplug in it, but turns over, has compression and spark!
