V7 II Fall / Tip-Over Sensor Reset

Manual says nothing that I can find.
Is there a reset procedure for the V7 tip-over sensor? My V7 II’s new owner reached out today. Said somebody knocked the bike over on its right side around midnight (city street-living, ugh), and now it won’t turn over. I’ve laid the bike down a couple times when riding through some funky terrain and never had to go through any sort of procedure, but I thought I’d cover all possibilities.

the Tipover sensor on my Griso opened a couple of times, I found it would reset if I jumped out the starter relay
Spade connector on about 3 feet of wire, clip it to the solenoid trigger terminal then touch the other end to battery Positive for a few seconds.

I would think disconnecting the Neg. Battery terminal would fix it if just waiting for a few minutes didn't.

If it has one they are square & mounted with square rubbers. To reset you shake it & put the ball back in the V. Inside is a bearing sitting in a V shaped.pocket. You can hear it rattle.

Arrived, noticed the kill switch was in the OFF position, flipped it on, and the bike fired right up.
Now, they did say they had actually been playing with the kill switch when trying to get the bike to start, so I’m assuming it wasn’t the issue. Maybe it was a stuck ball valve?
A bit annoying that I wasn’t there to figure out the cause (for posterity and bragging rights).
