EV Q's - Oil filters and Suspension

 Is there an updated list for what oil filters fit our EV Cali model.   Mine is an 03 Hydro.

Also - What are the factory recommended settings for those of us that have the Adjustable compression and rebound forks and shocks?  Not seeing anything in manual.

Looking to set sag in the rear no mention in the service manual. 

Will be bleeding brakes next.  These are connected front with rear so where should I bleed from on the connected front, rear or both calipers?   Thanks

There is no factory setting for the shocks because it all depends on rider weight.
There's quite a  few videos etc on the net talking about setting shocks.  Dave Moss is my go-to

If you have issues bleeding the linked brakes: take the rear caliper off. Find a thin piece of wood or something to place between the pads to simulate the brake rotor.
The  hang the caliper upside down so the nipple is at the top.
However you shouldn't need to do that if just replacing the fluid as long as you don't get air in the system. If you do get air in there, then the only solution is doing that

I Use the Bosch 3330. Not too expensive and pretty easy to find. I ordered a bunch from Rockauto.
I peel off the sticker/label on the filter because It might come off inside the sump.

The rear brake uses a valve on the swingarm to sense the load on the rear and send more or less brake pressure to the rear wheel. If you change the height of the rear by adjusting springs that setup no long works at intended.

* Interesting - SO you are saying not to set sag?   How did you come to that information?  I am replacing tires to OEM size BTW as the original owner had a 140/80 on it not the 150/70 as the former is easier to find these days.   The little I have ridden it I am impressed how it falls into turns but need to install some 2 rotating risers for the HB's to get comfortable.  Hoping they fit without to much stretch on the lines.  Thanks Wayne. Good to be aware of.

I think you mentioned risers for your bars. IIRR you should have 30mm bars like my bike. Rox Risers were the closest I could find for size I think I bought 1 1/8". Clamp riser on to triple tree and then clamp to bars. Only issue for the closest was the triple needed a shim (beer or soda can cut into strips, just need one all the way around strip for each clamp area. But the bar end need to be opened up a bit.

There are a bunch of decent riser makers. I went with Rox (yes pricey!!) due to reviews and best online descriptions.

The 2" pivot/pull back meant rerouting the cables. All JUST make it with bit of creativity. If you find the clutch cable too short, a Police Loop cable will work. IIRR I had to do something to make the cable fit properly in the clutch perch adjuster. IIRR it was an easy to make shim???
