New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
A Facebook update:"https://youtu.be/ZbZSe6N_BXs"I know it's corny, but we have a great reason to happy today. My good friend and partner Randy Ballard has agreed to rejoin the team! If you know Randy, he is a great salesman, but more than that he is a great guy! "We have some great deals on bikes for you, so if you have waited on that last minute deal to invest in a new motorcycle, then your wait is over! Piaggio has provided us with some great incentives to help us move all our 2017 motorcycles, and even some great deals on the 2018's as well. How great you ask? Well how does $5990.00 for a 2017 Stone sound? Or $12990.00 for a 2017 Tuono RR? ALL our bikes are on sale now, and we need to move at least 30 units between now and Labor day, so get in here and get them before they are gone. "These deals we have secured from Piaggio are going to allow us to continue our presence in the Portland area, and all of Oregon and Washington. We would like to thank them for giving us the incentives we need to continue to operate for our customers. So tell all your friends the good news! We are back and here to stay!"
All is good, new V7 lll very happy!
These closings are disturbing. Having just completed the USA 4 corners tour on my California 1400 it was concerning when I started looking at the dealer network around the nation just in case I had a problem. Fortunately I didn’t have any problems but come on Piaggio, why can you not keep and support dealers. The two guys I rode with were on Harley’s and there’s a Harley dealer in almost every town you go thru and their customer support is second to none. Take a lesson from Harley-Davidson Piaggio
Okay so how did I pull up this old thread and find out that Moto Guzzi of Portland is dead or maybe is not dead? Their website is down and I can find no facebook page either. So I did a google search on Moto Guzzi portland closing and came across this thread. I quickly started posting before reading all the messages that made it look like they reopened. Not sure what do think now.If anyone from Portland can drive by and see if they have any notices up or bikes on the floor that would be cool. I would call them but, there is no facebook page or website to gain that information from.NC
Only 28 states (not counting Oregon, now) are listed on the Moto Guzzi website in the dealer locator tab. Closest to me now is Seattle, 300 miles away.
I always thought Guzzi shops should be Guzzi/Aprilia/Piaggio and cover all the bases.
With the success of Vespa in the USA, I don't understand why Vespa, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia aren't combined dealerships. Several years ago, I visited a dealership that was only Vespa.
Just so happens we have an old-school Vespa/Aprilia shop right here in town. I like the shop and use them for everything I can.I asked them why, if they have Vespas and Aprilias for sale and service, whether they would also take on Moto Guzzi, as that would be the ultimate luxury for me, who have never had a dealer within 100 miles of me.The answer was that they can sell all the Vespas and Aprilias that they can get their hands on, but they don't believe that they would sell any Moto Guzzis to speak of. Besides Vespa and Aprilia, they also sell Honda and Suzuki, and Guzzi doesn't have a bike niche that one of these other brands doesn't already cover. They're probably right. They've been in business for 50 years that I know of, they've been making the right decisions so far ....Lannis
QUOTE: If I didn't care about shaft drive and air cooled I probably wouldn't be on a Guzzi. Royal Enfield Continental GT maybe.IMHO, there is something to be said about this lovely, new RE motorcycles!!
Their web site seems to be a little out of date. Promotions from last year?
