Solved: saggy kickstand Cali 1100
« on: August 15, 2025, 12:36:52 AM »
So the kickstand on my 2007 CalVin has always been a little bit wonky. I have heard these bikes lean is always a little bit excessive. Somewhere here on the forum I read about a wedge that fit a wide variety of Harley-Davidson used for lowering on the jiffy stand, if turned around raised the angle on the Guzzi. Well, it turns out that all that is Guzzi is not so original, the whole jiffy stand mount is copied and direct bolt on to some extent..,makes me wondered what else there might have been copied? Love to hear if u all know.
So I bought the wedge, and even got the complete jiffy mount in chrome off eBay new for $20, $25.

From front and top.

Bike stands much more upright now, shown on wood just to show.
Hope this helps someone.
