850 T3 Shifter & Linkage
« on: January 10, 2026, 01:13:42 PM »
I need some help with a T3 I am trying to rebuild. I got it as a semi basket case. The original one didn't come with a shift lever or linkage. I picked another frame and misc parts two days ago from the same guy. I thought it had these parts on it but it didn't.  I have been looking on eBay and a couple of other parts suppliers but two of them are on vacation so no help there.

Anyway I have found some parts on eBay but I don't know if they will work. My bike is a floor board model. The one of the diagrams I have is for the T3 show a long shift lever. Two other diagrams I have are for the V1000 which show the heel and toe shifter and linkage. Do any of you know if this setup will fit a T3? So far I haven't found much except for a complete rocker and linkage for a SP 1000. Will this work or are the frames different or could it be modified to fit? The only others I can find are in Germany and must be gold plated and being shipped overnight due to the cost. Any advice or clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:
I got my tablet so I could post a link to one I am looking at.

Convert parts will work just fine. Mark @ Moto Guzzi Classics will likely have all of it. 562-986-0070
