Working on rear fender fitment.  Here is concept if it is to swing with the rear wheel....

Still pondering this...  I like the look but i will have to fabricate us some fender stays... I think i need to define a seat and get a look at the complete package...

I like the idea of it, because it can look cool, although I personally think a smooth fender following the arc of the wheel would look nicer than the formed stock plastic unit. It will also add unsprung weight, but not to a degree that it would influence my choice.

So rear fender fitted....  I can now install drive shaft and flexi boot then move on to the seat options...  But now comes my next rant ....   I was going to lube the u joint as it feels good gut lube is old. However this looks like another GERMAN gotcha.....   I looked at replacement shaft assemblies, but those are stupid priced. So I will have to bring off the original impact stakes and go from there......

Why....   I don't understand....  But so it goes....

Front forks and wheel re-fitted.  Looking at seat options, found this one, what do you think ?

Can't see the seat in your post, the image didn't come through on my end, so hard to say much about that specific one. For a 75/5 though, I'd lean toward something that keeps the long, flat stock profile, since the bike's lines are so simple that a lumpy or overly sculpted seat tends to stand out. Thin pan, modest padding, and a bit of a kick-up at the back looks right with that fender you've fitted.

If you can repost the pic or tell us who makes it and whether it's a stock-style or custom piece, people can give you a better opinion. Also worth checking the seat hinge and the clearance over the rear fender and shock tops before you commit.
