"Loop" rear tire question.
« on: March 01, 2026, 03:36:00 PM »
Hello folks,  I made a mistake and bought a 100-90-18 shinko rear tire for my 73 eldorado.  Can I run that tire with the same sized tire in front, or would there be issues? I  currently have a 120-90 -18 on the rear.   Opinions?
Thanks
Rick.

Sure you can run it. The only issues may be (more of) a speedometer error and more effort required to put it on the centerstand. Oh, and it'll look "puny".

Hi Charlie, I didnt think about the speedometer being affected. It already reads a few mph higher than it should, which is not good.
thanks again,
Rick
