New to me T120, NGC
« on: May 31, 2026, 05:47:59 PM »
Just trailered a 2017 T120 Triumph Bonneville home today.
Several nice mods already done and included 3 additional seats, side bags, shield etc.

SO far, it is a sweet bike.
Need to do a little TLC on her but very pleased so far

Obligatory pic

Bonneville is a sweet bike. I had an 865 air cooled and now I have a ‘22 Speed Twin 1200.

Good luck with it!

Nice color combo.
That is the 1200. Pretty powerful drivetrain?

Some T120 Bonnie's are detuned and others have great power.  Depends on the model you choose.

Bought my wife an air cooled 865 Bonnie a couple of years ago.
It came with the lambdas and air injection gubbins removed and TORs fitted with a re map. I replaced the budget oem rear shocks and its a nice ride. Only criticism is the poor choice of tyres available in standard sizes, no radials at all.

I also have a '17 T120 Bonneville that I bought new about 9 years ago. I love this naked standard bike. Here it is with the King/Queen seat, I think it looks better with the stock seat though.

So the T120 is suiting me well.
I’ve discovered the following mods so it’s no wonder. Someone spent some $$$ to make it right.

Matris cartridges
Hagon rear shocks
X pipe crossover
British Kustom exhaust
Corbin seat
Lowered pegs
Bar end mirrors
Touring screen
Side bags
Lots of smaller detail items

Pretty happy with her I must say

That comfort seat is a vast improvement over the stock seat. I put one on mine as well.  Now all you need is the belt drive.  Yeah I know big bucks.  Would probably still have mine if I hadn't been enticed by the Mandello. The V7 850  have nowis doing well by me. Enjoy your T120, they are nice bikes.
