This looks to be a very, very nice original V7 Sport, wonder what it will fetch?

Very nice bike, having original replacement tins is awesome! I have a 7200 mile original burgundy one in the shop now. It has a few blemishes in the paint but, the owner is not going to correct that. I was never fond of the green paint but, it's growing on me. I've restored 2 burgundy Sports, I'm starting my second black one for a client. I have one waiting in the wings with original black tank but, I'm thinking about green for that one. We'll see. This bike should bring some tall $$$$!

Beautiful bike.

Idn't it a little sad, though, that whoever buys it will likely not ride it, in order to maintain the pristine condition that they have paid for and don't want to lose?

On the other hand, I suppose it's some consolation that we have nice bikes like this to look at ...... !

Just finished an engine rebuild, clutch and "sorting" on this one, it will definitely be ridden.

It sounds like the 2nd owner was the fellow that owned the Triumph store here in OKC.  He is one of the two partners that own Seaba Station.   I don't ever remember that he owned this bike or that it was ever displayed at Seaba but I know that he bought out most of Atlas.

Next time I see him, I'll ask him if was his.  He's got so many bikes it seems highly likely.

This would be a different source than the mystery "Museum" in Hinton OK.

That's nice!

I could never buy a bike and then not ride it because it was too "nice".    Or even too "original", even though a bike can only be original once .....

;-T  I like them in black and green, but the dark red/maroon is my favorite. Beautiful.

I don't see why you couldn't buy this one, replace the cylinders, and ride it.  I wouldn't cross country or commute on it, but a couple hundred mile blast on a Sunday now and then won't hurt its value.  I put around 1K miles a year on mine, and it keeps us both happy!

I was just thinking that if nice ones are now $10K- $15K, this one might go for North of $15K.  It's pretty much everything a collector could want (short of the early cro-molly red framed bikes).  I wonder if it comes with the original tins?  (Then you could put them on and ride it with a little less worry.)

Go for it Travis!  And you've got Charlie nearby for new jugs and any fiddling that would need to be done.  Contact the guy and strike a back room deal.

I was wondering same about original tins. If included, I would put those back on and box up the new ones.

Travis and his friend Martin seem plenty capable of doing this on their own. He's "been there, done that" with his Ambassador already.

This is the 7200 mile survivor my client picked up last summer

He paid 10k for it and put another 3500.00 into cylinders, tires, cables and tuning. I'm pulling the trans soon to fix a leaking rear main.
Here's the one owner Sport I picked up last weekend...

I have a couple of very nice original brit bikes (70 Triumph, 73 Norton). Great original paint etc. I can tell you they get ridden regularly.

I do enjoy just sitting and looking at them but I enjoy kicking them over and heading out on my Sunday vintage breakfast rides even more.

While I love my Lemans 850,  I really have a hankering for a V7 with the drum front brake. I just love a 4LS front brake. I'd even take a Beneli Tornado with one, or a Water Buffalo. I don't know why but those front brake setups just fascinate me.

The recently listed ebay bike had a reserve and expectation of $21,500.00 by the owner.

I don't know what it sold for having been removed from Ebay.

There is a nice 1973 Benelli Tornado on eBay right now.

I agree, the drum front brake used on the V7 Sport and other bikes is very attractive.
