B-2 and KC135 fly over?
« on: June 04, 2015, 09:54:22 PM »
Why would a B-2 with a KC135 fly over at an extremely low altitude  2,000 feet or less in the dark?    The B-2 did not have lights on.

This was at 10:15 dark.  I live in the country north of Louisville in Southern Indiana.  I heard the loud noise and when out to see what it was.  I thought it was the Iron Horsemen that hang out north of town coming home from a ride.  Then I realized it was a jet.  I could hear it but could not see it.  Then the B-2 flew over so low that the street lights lit the bottom and the KC135 was 1/4 mile behind it .  They did a 5 mile loop and came over a second time.  This time, after the B-2 was north of town about a mile, a bright red light came on and the two planes did a 180 turn while staying at a low altitude.  Flying off to the south.

The noise was 1 minute ahead of the planes.  Nothing stealth about the KC135.
