A real dirt bike makes it too easy.  All it lets you do is go fast, jump, and go over impossible terrain.
A scrambler makes you feel like a hero at 10 mph

This is my scrambler project.  Handles well on single track and grass track, still a gussied up pig.
Just put new dual sport tires, a fender brace and skidplate on it.

This one's another nice job.  I'm a Husqvarna fan

This one is more hacked up

So where can I find a real bash guard for my V7 Stone if I wanted to participate in some shenanigans?  No, really...

I'm afraid you'd have to make one.  For my dirtbikes I have used 1/2" high density polyethylene sheet.  Cuts easily, forms with a heat gun.  I made a cardboard templateused U bolts to clamp it on, and then used the heat gun to bend as needed to fit the bike.  HDPE is very tough and doesn't dent as much as aluminum.  You can get it in dark grey or black.
