 A friend of mine is selling his 59 Bugeye, just posting this here because I know there are a Few Brit car people here. He's owned for about 40 years.

Sharp car, should be a lot of fun for someone.

I can't look at one though, without thinking (to paraphrase Dave Barry) that it ought to be the star of a series of children's books with titles like "Buster the Car Goes to Town."

Then again, when I was watching Predator I didn't think two members of its cast would become governors, either. So you never know.

I drove 1 w/the original 948cc motor in `61.  Boy was it gutless!   Power wise comparable to my buddy's `52 MGTD.  :D

Owned one for for about 6 years back in the 80's, tons of fun.
Went with the ex as it had been her dads.
A few years later it was offered to me but didn't need another connection.

That is funny to read. I was looking at them in the early 70's. I'm 6'5" and after I sat in the first one I realized that was that. 36" inseam just wasn't going to work those pedals.
