Is that what they what they go for? I have been kicking around the idea of going to see it.

I'm no expert on these, but seams a fair price with fairly high miles on the OD
Bike is in decent shape judging by the pics.

The one in LA is a real looker, wonder why he is taking such a hit on it?? Perhaps he realizes how much he overpaid?

Is that a lot of miles for a 30 year old bike? Is it just me or does the paint on the fairing look faded.

25,000 miles on a Guzzi is not high mileage.

25k is not a lot.  My LMIV actually started running better at about 15k-20k.  The bike in the ad looks like it wasn't particularly well stored, the paint looks good but metal parts show oxidation.  But, it does look intact.  Stock airbox, horrid OEM Paioli or Bitubo fork dampers, mushy sponge grips, even has the eagle on the front of the fairing which peeled off of mine after a few years.  The front lower corners of the seat haven't even shredded like they all will.  Perhaps the Corbin was on it most of the time.

If the fluids have been changed semi-regularly this could be a quick clean up and refresh job to get a great running LMIV.

And in Los Angeles:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/mcy/4926014003.html

This is where my eyes roll.  ::) ::)
Selling price $4700.
"This bike was purchased in 2012 for $8400, and I have only put less than 100 miles on it, so this price is a steal..."
Either the owner make a big mistake when he purchased it in 2012 or he is making a big mistake selling it at nearly nearly half of what he paid for it.
I do not get it.

Have someone go and check it out before purchase.
