Stornello Scrambler - Pulled the Trigger
« on: May 14, 2013, 07:40:12 PM »
I've been looking for a cool Moto Giro bike, and this beauty happened along today.  Stroke of good luck with the help of a good friend.  1968 Stornello 125 Scrambler with 380 original miles.  Totally unmolested with original paint and tires!  Now I just have to get it from California to Jersey...

But you had  better mount some fresh tires before you ride back. I bet the mounted tires have all the traction of little rocks!  (If it is delivered, you can try the existing tires in loose dirt, first.

Awesome find. That is a really cool little bike. Let's see a picture with you on it when you get it back to your place. I'm curious how it will look with a rider.

So, I guess this means you will want to sell one or more of you other bikes to make room.  PM me the details. I'll gladly buy any of your extra bikes.  ;)

I'd consider a straight-up trade.  Griso SE for well-sorted, kindof bad-ass Calvin.

Fly and ride Cam, fly and ride...

Funny Dave, seller suggested I take a month off and ride it home too.  Wanna be my follow car?

Ow, that hurts thinking about not having the Griso.  But, I would trade the Griso for either of your 1974 Guzzis.

Nice!
And isn't it ironic that I put a Stornello fuel tank up for sale today? (see the WG classifieds)

Your photobook pics are gone!   I was looking for pics of your Storny to show someone, and can't find them.
