Just a curiosity thing at this time.  My original rear shock on my 2008 1200 Sport is fast approaching 55,000 miles.  I'm not a hard rider, and rarely if ever ride two-up.  And the rear shock on my bike feels 'ok', sort of. But if someone out there who does track days on their S12 has upgraded their rear shock, and would like to sell their GOOD low mileage OEM rear shock for a 12S, drop me a line.

Why not just have it rebuilt and re-valved for you by a suspension shop? Is it damaged?

Pete, my shock may be ok.  I was simply shopping for a good used one I could keep in reserve in case the original crapped out in the next year or two.  And since the 1200S is my main ride at the moment, I don't want to incur the down time of waiting for the shock to be rebuilt.
