Windshield Help/Advice California 1100
« on: April 05, 2015, 05:49:07 AM »
My Cal 1100 has the stock tinted, police looking windshield, which is OK except I either have to stretch to see over it, or duck to see through it. It's a little bit of a pain to see at night because it's tinted. I'm looking for an idea of what others are using to solve this problem. What other windshield is a good choice, thanks for any help.

I had the touring windshield on my Cali. that was made by national cycle. I couldn't see over it either. I started by placing painters tape on where I thought the height should be and rode around with it on there. When I found the height I wanted I brought it to a glass shop and had them cut it down. It was great after that. I cut one down myself on an earlier bike. That job one wasn't quite as nice.
