It was a beautiful day I took 24 and 27 instead of going up 85. And still took less than three and a half hours including gas stops.
Here's another take:
Raleigh, North Carolina, Eurobike Day 2015. Just a day to ride in, hang out, meet friends, look at interesting bikes!
Started out on the Stelvio, Fay and I did, till my bent rotor made itself known, so dropped back to the Ford Festiva and went on anyhow.
Good crowd of people there:

Mark Tenney and Barbara Nowell’s Griso and Brutal MV respectively:

And speaking of whom:

“Does this MV make my … self … look fast?” comes to mind!
Jake and Pat from southern NC are enjoying being there ….

A few nice Loops ridden in; this first one Tom’s from Oriental NC:

A ZERO electric. I’ll not soon get used to these borg-looking bikes:

Ayyy, that’s’a nice Italian girl!

A few old Brits, not many. I’ve ridden a BSA down here in the past, may need to do it again just to show the flag …

Grabbed some steamed dumplings from one of the three food trucks. Good but ya gotta be ready for ‘em!

The young fellers are into their Japanese iron … uh, alloy, I mean:

The $500 Café Specials – good fun for cheap, I suspect:

Kevin (I think I got that right) and Emily (I know I got that right) survey the crowd:

The original founders of this affair, back when it was just a little gathering:
Juan –

and Mark –

were circulating and helping out.
Hunter, discussing “why I don’t want a pickle” with Dennis and me:

And the Mods, of course, were there with their scooters:

But then we were all done. On the way home, (for rail buffs) I noticed that we were traveling over the tracks of the old Oxford and Clarksville Railroad, laid out in the 1890s and operated until the 1950s …..

And that’s the way it was, April 12, 2015, and I’m stickin’ to it ….
