2014 Norge Tranny Oil Change
« on: April 19, 2015, 05:44:14 PM »
Norge is coming up on first oil change and am wondering about the transmission oil change.  The book says to take it to a Guzzi dealer to have this done, and no information about how to do it.  I'm going to do it myself, but before I start tearing body panels off, am wondering if anyone has any words of advice on this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

When you say first oil change, is the bike new or is it used but new to you?

If it is new, then my recommendation is that you have the selling dealer perform the initial service. In lieu of that, an authorized MG dealer for the first service.

The service manual can be downloaded.

Transmission is pretty simple. Drain plug is on the bottom and fill plug is on the right side. Drain and fill until it starts trying to come back out. But, service also includes valve lash adjustment, throttle body sync and TPS reset.
