Isn't it great when you take a weekend and just have a good ride? Like a date with a woman and you want another.
You know its funny you say that. I am 45, in the peak of my career and time is a luxury that I struggle to have.
It seems most weekends are a "sneak a 2 or 4 hour ride in where I can", and that's if I can work my magic to get the other life's demands taken care of.
It really is nice to get out. I wish I had done an over nighter out of it, but that doesn't seem so far to be manifesting.
I do know that when I don't get my riding in.. I get cranky.. so I am grateful for it.
This is my first real summer with the NTX (I purchased slightly used last September) so I am looking forward to seeing "where this goes" just like a woman in my younger days.
Like a lot of us here, I've had a lot of bikes.. frankly I don't want to invest the cash, time etc in more than 1 or maximum 2 bikes..
So far other than my dream of doing a little single track like when I was a kid.. the NTX seems to be doing it all.
BTW I am thinking of a little TW200 (13 HP balloon tire bike that's been around forever) for the single track.. something that people will laugh with and/or at me as I putt along without a care thru the woods... remember those days?
And that's really why I just did a 20,000 foot level comment. We are all experienced to know here that we don't have to play the advertising game about who's got the least weight, most HP etc.
That's just a recipe for suffering as next year its something else.
I just want to have the short moments of pleasure riding, with hopefully something that's not to demanding to keep and something that puts a smile on my face.
The NTX seems to be it.
