Kia Ora Fella's

well first I wanted a T150V so I could relive my youth, then I got a BSA Rocket3, because they always look so cool, and now after seeing a 73 Eldorado I just had to have it, even if it is somewhat of a barn find, and looks it..With all this machinery you would think I knew alot about motorbikes, but No, I just ride them, drool over them ,and look at them in my barn..I have bikes in four different countries. six of the same model..been riding for 45yrs. slide down many a road on my arse, came within 0.4 of a world speed record, on the road..I am an aging rebel, a loner who flits between homes in Asia, and New Zealand..if I attempt to pull this Guzzi apart, I will need all you blokes advice and more. So nice knowing ya...

Kia ora Maaka,

Always good to see another kiwi on this forum. Welcome. There's always someone here, often lots of someones, who can and will tell you what you need to know and not just about Guzzis either.

Looking forward to seeing you on here. And remember, pictures are worth a million words!

Geez thanks guys, I have never felt so wanted in all my life...hahaha...dam good welcome I must say..

' show us your pics ' I hear you cry..
well I am not that smooth an operator of all things taplop, as my Isaan G/F calls it, but I will attempt to download said pics for you to oggle at from this borrowed Thai laptop with squiggley writing on it, while I sit starkers in front of the dam thing, in 40 degree heat, only a rifle shot away from the Mekong River. Now let me see ..............

nope, DAM INFERNAL THINGS, I hate them.  its says ' insert image ' but how does one drag image to insert.

anyway thanks for the yahoo thingy, by the way Cam
and why now for WildCuzzi, well because I now own one, neh..
and Maungaturoto is just outside the Jaffa boundry thank God..

You are well on your way, just need a teenager nearby to get you started on the pictures.  This site does not actually support uploading pictures (too much space required).  You need to find another site, for storing pictures (hopefully free) then figure how to obtain a link to said picture (after you upload) and paste link to this forum via the "insert image" icon.

Work it out, we are waiting . . . . .  :pop

Welcome, Maaka!
The remote picture hosting thing sounds like a lot of work, but it's not too bad.  There are a number of websites that do free image hosting; Flickr (associated with Facebook); Photobucket (slow due to many ads, and they send a lot of spam), and others only a Google-search away.  I've dealt with the two I named, and once your pictures are loaded they have an easy way to copy & send the images.

Sounds complicated, but after a couple of times it's not too bad ... Hope this helps.  :)

heck, I need to sit down after that lesson..seems much easier to whip the top off an Eldorado, than paste pics on here.. might need that teenager for sure..me, I cant even use a tv remote, comes from living in remote places, and on 12v solar power for the last 20yrs..and I thought Flickr was a favorite horse, but anyway, give me a motorbike and a stretch of the black stuff, and I am as happy as a dog with two ....., nothing like fanging full tit thru the night, with sore eyes glued to the headlight beam, and waiting for things to jump out at ya..

Never really went for Guzzi's before ( until I saw me Eldorado ) I cut my teeth on dirtbikes, then Trumpys, and Norton's, and it was only the odd Larry that had an Italian job..but now that I have been looking around, they are works of art to behold for sure, but I guess every brand has its dud ones, so I will have to learn more about MG's

Makka, it took me about 5 beers to figure out the photo posting thing, I don't have any teenagers around. When you finally hit the right buttons you'll see it's not that big of a deal. Foto's instrustion are good w/o being too wordy.
