Where to source parts from?

Hi everyone ... does anyone have MG parts buying experience's in OZ? shame on me ... I dropped my Black Italian Beauty Norge GTV 2012 and need a RHS cyclinder Cam Cover ... mine is now scratched :( ...
Need a RHD riders footpeg, guessing both of the above will have to be 'new' items, disadvantage in riding an exotic bike then dropping it.
Also need to paint the fairing on RHS after fixing scratches on bodywork ... any hints, advice appreciated. The damage is not bad enough to take to a bodyshop, so am prepared to put my 'limited' spray painting skills to use.
How did it happen? Yeah ..well ... was in the process of mounting rolling steed (rolling down a hill), left foot on footrest, right leg swinging over saddle when front wheel angle was changed by object on road upsetting balance at same moment left foot toe snuck lever into gear .. klunk ... oh oh .. pause in midair ... kerash ..crackle ..snap.
::) stupid is as stupid does .... I know so lay off... cannot feel any worse than I do... I cheer up when I think "this will not be the last time I drop a bike"
Brake lever bent inwards .. still works, RHS bar end damaged all fixable.
looking forward to any hints/advice/links to where to buy what I need.

I'm across the world from you, so I can't help with parts. Just wanted to commiserate. I hadn't dropped a bike in decades until I got my Norge this year. The bike decided to lay down one day after I dismounted, thinking that I had deployed the side stand when I hadn't. What a heavy bike!
At first I thought I would fix all the scuffed bits, but I later decided to pocket the insurance money. What's wrong with a few battle scars anyway? My clutch lever is bent, but it still works, and my left pannier has some scrapes, but nail polish should cover them up well enough.
It stings at first, but after a few days or weeks it won't be so bad...

Locally I can recommend - Roper @ Moto Moda, John @ Motociclo, I haven't used Thunderbikes in Perth but have heard good reports. There is very little in the way of secondhand parts.
O/S I have used - Teo Lamers (
www.tlm.nl
) and Stein-Dinse (

)

My email is

Doubtful you'll find undamaged 2nd hand bits. You hit the bits that always get hit.
Is the peg itself trashed or the 'Pork Chop' it mounts on. Send me some pics, (Or John, or Mario.) and we can probably work out what you're likely to need.

I've bought second hand parts from Teo Lamers before and have never had an issue.
Second hand here seems to be limited, or I haven't found the right place yet!

Besides ordering parts, perhaps you can ploish and paint the metal parts? And perhaps the same with the plastic that isn't broken?
I'd check with a GOOD body shop.

Dropped my 2007 Norge right after doing the 600 mile check on it doing a U-turn in my drive. On the plus side the saddlebags were off due to the servicing. ;-T

Thank you all ....
yes ... a few days later and other events 'mask' the pain felt on the night ... still hate the dumb f%@k for dropping bib... avoiding mirrors for now.
The boss had a few choice words to say (not at me .. thank you God.) as our car got run into a week earlier ... so both vehicles needing repairs now.
Fortunately I know myself quite well and commute sans saddlebags and topbox ... past experience I guess.
Bike not as top heavy as the ST1100 I dropped, then again those smart designers had wings on bodywork that stopped bike laying flat, so was easier to
pick up .. until the day I dropped it on ground sloping away ... I needed wings to lift that beast that day, embarrassment adrenaline.
I am giving the impression I drop bikes a lot ... not true ... close on 40 years on two wheels and 4 knockdowns due to 'accidents' (good word to cover people at fault)
and 3 bike drops at standstill ... finally got myself a camera to mount on my helmet or bike when commuting... will post video on next embarrassing moment.
I am old enough to know there is no such thing as an 'accident' when ones safety is at risk.
Am also too stupid to stop motosick -ingly.
cheers
