  I am willing to bet...

I'm more of a sure-thing kinda guy. And, I'm sure that the Versa-Hauler on my Suburban works.

I'm also sure that switching to LT-series tires for all my towing/hauling needs was the right thing to do for vehicle stability.

In 10,000 + loaded miles, the Versa-Haul has performed its function quite well.  It was well worth the $350 +/- I spent on it back in 2003.

After more searching I found this - made by Ultimate MX Hauler.

It sits at ground level so you just push the bike onto the rail. Then a hydraulic bottle lets you pump the rail up to hitch level. A bolt then holds it in place.

Holds up to a 480 lb streetbike and weighs about 80 lbs.

Seems like just what I was looking for. ;-T ;-T

that's a nice one Ralph, ease of load.

You can buy style, but you have to build character.

That look very useable. If it comes with that stand I think you could also use it for working on your bike in a garage. ;-T

Are they finally making them? I tried to buy one a couple of years ago but manufacturing was in a quasi-pseudo-maybe status.

Make sure you measure the distance from the back of the RV to the handlebar ends. On the Aprilia Pegaso there was no way to get the bike on the carrier and not have it bang into the back of the DP Pusher, not good.

The MX was the best design I had seen if you are decided on using a hitch carrier.
