     That's great stuff you're doing!  I'm also an artist who makes instrument mutes solely out of wood and making a difference.  Former professional player who had to retire from injury; took my experience and turned it into a positive.  Also recently had a right brain experience with a Guzzi of making one mine.  It doesn't stop with your art you sell does it? Nothing like working with your hands.

He's not on this board, but we have another Guzzi fanatic who is into wooden furniture.  Luc Racine lives in Ireland just west of Macroom.  He has a nice collection of restored vintage bikes.  We know him in the Guzzi-Singles forum due to his Guzzi Airone 250.  Regina and I just spent a day with him on our recent trip to Ireland.  He's Swiss by heritage but has lived in Ireland for 35 years.  Vibrant vintage moto group in Ireland.  Here's a sample of Luc's artistic furniture.  Google others.

I can't say I'm in poverty because I am building a moto guzzi, but perrrrty close (lol) but I photograph on spec (I have no agent or representation so I establish relations with newsgroups, artist reps, fashion designers etc. and photograph their ideas on 'spec'ulation they might purchase such photograph.) Competition is tough when you can "buy" a stock image from Getty for only several dollars.  But I love what I do

Cool... It was cool watching it, then double cool when I realized that was you.
I purchased my first V11 from a glass blower up here in Seattle.
I wonder if Guzzi's attract more of the artistic side of the folks then normal.. I've always had a feeling they do.

Just fantastic!  I admire your creativity and choice in Italian motorcycles.  NC is on my short list of possible final retirement locations.
My youngest daughter just graduated from SCAD in Savannah, not far from you.  She is a motion media digital artist.  I hope to re-establish my drawing and water color skills and creativity when I retire in a year.

I fell in love with guzzis in my 20's when I lived in SF.  I bought a 74 eldo in 1989-90.  I liked the lines and the classic look.  I wasn't much of a mechanic at the time, but slowly gained more knowledge and confidence.  What made me stay with the brand all these years was the fact that it was a pretty simple machine, even a shade tree mechanic like myself could keep the bike running.  Since then I have acquired and fiddled with other guzzis, a 1959 Lodola, the T3 in the video and an a 1996 1100Sport.  i love all these bikes for their uniqueness and quirks.  I still have them all and ride them as much as I can.
