I'm rebuilding the 5 speed on my g5 for the first time . and it seems the rear end of the input shaft is worn as a result of bearing failure . (pic attached ). I am planning on putting a sleeve on it . does anyone know the original shaft diameter / fit for this 17mm id bearing ?

You may want to consider buying a good used shaft from Moto Guzzi Classics, Mark probably has several
