New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Thanks, Mike. Sometimes, I just need to make sure.
Over the years, I've thought of trying a 150/70-17 on my Sport 1100 carb, because the stock 160/60-17 just seems too wide for the rim. The bike does handle pretty good, and good tires in 18" rear are thinning, so I've never tried it.I did do it on my V11 LeMans, which came stock with a 180/55. Went to a 170/60 and never looked back. Turn-in and handling was much better with the 170 on the back of that bike.I think Guzzi was just trying to keep up with fashion and was using the largest tire that would fit, for marketing, rather than choosing the best tire for handling.
