clutch lever replacement?
« on: June 19, 2015, 07:02:58 PM »
I need to replace my clutch lever, and have a new MG lever ($$) on hand. I took a quick look at it this morning, besides the pivot bolt holding it on there are two sliding bits, one of which is pushing into the fluid reservoir.

I guess I'm saying it's not quite as simple as I was thinking it would be. Any tips for replacing it?

Turned out to be fairly easy. Remove the nut, unscrew the bolt. The new lever has a pivot with a pawl that needs to be assembled, and the pawl has to be inserted into the reservoir.

Some comments have been made about expensive MG levers. In this case, they are Brembo levers, and I apprciate the quality.
