One of my favorite B movie actors.  Sad he's gone.  But at 93, he got his licks in.

He wasn't just a B movie actor.  In recent years he played a mean ass Wizard in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, among other heavy weight parts.

Quite the man, quite the accomplished man.  From his exploits in WWII, and prior in Finland, master fencer,to making a heavy metal album at age 88, he made an extraordinary life.  A bit of a prick to fans, a man who did not suffer fools gladly, the last of a line of exceptional men.
If you wish to know what a man is, place in him authority.
False accusations reflect more on the accuser than the accused.
They can take everything from you, including your life, except your honor and integrity.  That you must give away.
Do or don't do. There is no try.

Listening to NPR, he also put out a heavy metal album.  I thought he was old when I watched him in Midnight Matinee movies when I was a teen. Only the good die old. RIP I hope.

And a second metal album at the age of 92 that won an award. Truly sad he's gone.
