A bit OFF; 30th anniversary to back to the future

One of the best trilogy of the 80s.
It turns out that because of the movie when people imagine going back in time the do so with a DeLorean  :boozing:

Cheers to Marty Mcfly Doc Brown and Director Robert Zemeckis for a wonderful trilogy.  :boozing:

By coincidence I saw the first BTTF yesterday on TV. It really is a fun movie, maybe because I was Marty's age in 1985 as well.
Anyway, I noticed that Doc's DeLorean had 31,000 miles on it and thought "There were DeLoreans that actually made it to 31,000 miles?"

Oh, and what happened to the DeLorean time machine that conked out in the middle of Main Street in 1985, at the end of the movie? Was it towed somewhere? Time-travel logic, it never works.

And speaking of timeless, it's funny how "terrorists from Libya" are still a consistent real-life villain, even 30 years after the movie.

Actually Deloreans are refurbished by an outfit and run about $25K-30K if you want 1.  Supposedly they found a warehouse full of NOS 1s and use the parts to make a good 1 and will sell it to you.  I thought they all used Buick V8s but some used another motor too.

Loved the trilogy back in the day, my two girls 16 and 10 love the blue ray trilogy today.  I think their kids will love the trilogy in 4K  format  or 8K format 10-15 years from now. GREAT SCOTT !!  It's  :clock:
