Idle and dash question

I purchased a 2008 Norge had 9,000 miles now at 10,800 and took her in for service. The engine would idle at 1,800 RPM’s after warmup but a cold start it would idle at 1,200 RPM’s. I just got the bike back and she idles at 1,000 to 1,100 at cold but when warm still at 1,800. The dealer states that when you stop the bike at a red light with the clutch pulled in and in gear it will idle at 1,800. Put it in neutral and let the clutch out and it will go down to 1,100. I tried it and it does. Is this supposed to happen? I was out with a group of bikes and the Norge was the only bike that idles at 1,800 when stopped.
My second problem is I can’t set the clock or reset my trip meters. I can toggle but when you press the set button in nothing happens. The dealer says it could be the switch or the dash that is bad.

Sounds like the Idle Stepper Motor is not working correctly. Is the dealer experienced in Guzzis? If not they might not know enough about it to correct it.
As for the clock etc, make sure you are following the menu and go sloooooooowwwww on the buttons.
