Cool stuff but completely impractical for customer duplication.  Seeing no window I wonder how the rider kept going straight.  Maybe a small lense to look out of?  I'm betting they did the run @ sunrise before it got too hot in that cocoon.  Nice video.

Back in the days of some mining came nearly face to face with a moose in Canada early none morning. I'll take my chances with a bear over a moose any day. Luckily the SUV door was unlocked.

     Congrats to them. But as a practical matter I would make a flush window and leave the weight of the tiny cameras and screen in the barn, but then they are the ones who achieved this record and I have absolutely no interest in doing so myself.

In reality it was probably not really possible to do.  If the rider gained any weight they'd be in trouble as it was.

It does have practical application. This is a very efficient shape -- scale it up, put in the required windows and vents, and you have a very efficient electric-powered commuter bike.

It's not practical if there are any sidewinds....unless you like getting knocked over.
