T3 speedometer & Tach on Eldo

Can I put a speedometer & Tach from a T3 on an Eldorado?  Same cables, etc?

Is the T3 tach electronic like the Eldo?
I think the speedo is probably the standard 1000 revs per mile

The T3 tach is cable driven, not electronic like the Ambo/Eldo unit, so unless you used the Tonti timing cover and cam, it wouldn't work. Using that timing cover opens another can of worms...

aftermarket tachs and speedometers run electronically and sometimes use GPS, if this is an option

While we're on the subject, anyone need a Veglia electronic tach for a 6 cyl. engine? Looks just like an Ambo/Eldo tach except there's no redline marked. 80 mm diameter.

The blue faced tach from the later Cal II was electronic, says so on the face, but it is "one pulse" (I made that up!).  For every revolution of the engine the coil it is attached to fires once.  The Eldo coil fires twice per revolution so the attached tach I would dub "two pulse".  If you gave that six cylinder tach to a speedo shop they could alter it to suit.  I know this because I am running an altered Eldo tach on an SP motor.
