Norge Top Case Rack
«

I have a Norge with a Guzzi top case. I'd like to take a pooch (13lbs) for a ride and I was thinking about modifying a Givi top case to suit a dog so that it would be interchangeable with the Norge top case. Is that possible?
Thanks

I have a Hepco & Becker topcase and they recomend limiting maximum weight in the topcase to 5Kg for safety reasons.
The topcase is mounted behind the rear axle and is mounted relatively high and so, can cause stability problems.
I would prefer to see something which straps on to the pillion seat as this would be above the rear axle, not behind it.
I don't have a Norge, so, I can't really visualize the mounting arrangements.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Dogs will allow their owners to do all kinds of things with and to them even though they don't really like it.
Like patting (not petting) them on the head. They don't like it but put up with it. Make sure said pooch really does like it and isn't just tolerating it. In a fall, what happens to the pooch if they are strapped in? What gives us a chance in a fall is being able to get away from the bike.

Actually it was a dumb idea of mine to put the guy in the back. I'm thinking about a pouch that'll hang off my front. If I come off, he'll come with me and it's also a smaller investment so I won't loose as much if he doesn't like it.
I'm still curious to know if a Givi will fit on a Guzzi rack.

If you employ the Givi universal adaptor to mount to the Guzzi Mount, I don't see why not.
But why not use the mount Givi make especially for your Norge? SR210 for a Monokey, or SR210M for a Monolock.
