Water leaking around gas cap on Breva?

Went to fill up the tank yesterday and opened the gas tank on my Breva 750 and found a puddle of water pooled around the inner gasket?  Apparently none got into the tank as she is running fine but now i need to figure out which gasket to replace.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Do you know the part number or where to find them online?  We had a heavy rain the other day which accounts for the water.

How about a picture of the fuel cap area?  I don't have a Breva 750.  Is it recessed like a 98EV?  Those have a drain to take away water and spilled fuel to the ground.  With time, the drain gets clogged and water collects around the fuel cap.  Bad juju as it will eventually get into the fuel, sink to the bottom, and start rusting the tank.  If you do have a "moat drain", find a way to test it and free it up.

One of the hoses under the tank is a drain for this area.  The hose itself will not probably be blocked, but the spigot it is attached to most likely is.

If it is like mine, you will need a drill to clear it, a bit of wire won't do it..

I used an 18" piece of bicycle Bowden cable with the strands soldered tight at each end.  Use that in an electric drill and run it up into the moat drain from below.  Helps to have an empty tank so you can invert it.  Dribble some light solvent in there and then feed the cable SNAKE in there slowly to break out the crud obstruction.  Repeat every few years.  The tube up inside the tank is not a straight shot, but rather a coil like a very loose spring.  You have to snake through that coil until the moat drains properly.

The tube up inside the tank is not a straight shot, but rather a coil like a very loose spring.  You have to snake through that coil until the moat drains properly.

Obviously, I must have just cleared the first inch or so.  But it worked, so perhaps they just tend to clog near the spigot.  If memory serves me correctly I unscrewed the spigot too; but this was on an 1100 not a 750.
