Eldorado clutch adjustment
« on: December 15, 2015, 02:56:48 PM »
The clutch cable is new.  After warming up, was having issues with the bike creeping forward with the clutch disengaged at a stop and while switching gears. Noticed the clutch cable was touching the frame at the bottom end.  Tried adjusting at the handle, but only thing that worked was adjusting at the bottom.  I don't have any issues with creep anymore or changing gears, but the cable is pretty tight now.  Takes a bit of squeezing to pull the handle.  Any thoughts on what the issue might be and how to improve?

Just make sure you have a bit of free-play at the lever.  Proper routing and lubing of the cable will help the pull.
