My daughters surprised me with a GoPro this morning.  Need to figure out good mounts, how to use it, and put videos online.  Good toy.

Got the Orlieb bag and helicopter tape for V7R tank bag.

Need temps to go below 85F to go camping.  Had to put shorts on this morning after poodle walk.

A set of the reusable rocker cover gaskets and a new oil filter.

My loud tappets have saved enough lives for now so I thought I had better make them a bit quieter.

I got a Kaoko throttle lock for the V7 Special for Christmas.    I thought about installing it, but took it for  for a ride instead.   I'll install it later this weekend, when it is raining again.

Christmas eve, I went around and tightened all the fuel line clamps on the Bassa. I had replaced all the rubber hoses, and apparently the rubber has compressed a bit. 2 weeks ago we were headed to a holiday gathering on a marginal Saturday afternoon. As I was gearing up, I noticed a large puddle of fuel collecting under the bike, whoops, had to take the /6.Thursday was a spectacular day, warm and sunny, and I was home early, so I determined where the leak was coming from, fixed it and took the girl out for a couple of hours.

Today looks to be cloudy highs in the upper 40's and dry. I have bought a stablemate for the Bassa, an 84 V65c with 14k on it. Plan is to ride it home this morning.

On xmas day, ordered Todd's fueling kit for the Cali1400.  On sale, and now you can do the flash yourself.

Please let us hear how this works out. Did you make any changes to intake or exhaust to require a re map?  Thanks    dave

I was going to sell my Strada (from Chuck from Indiana) but a planned move closer to twisty bits changed that. I did get some of Ed Milich's brake adapters so I can put on my 02 Lemans 4 pot Brembo Calipers and will get the seat reshaped for a person a bit longer than Chuck, then ride the crap out of it.... Don't know if I saved it from a better home, but I like it.
