It looks like a 2 valve motor kit?  There's only one cam.  Not sure what that is for?  There was somone in S.F. selling a tappet kit for $1000 that was the original Griso 8V recall thats having problems again.

The last 4 digits of the part number are 8700 on this kit...and the one I have on the workbench here in front of me is 8720. Mine has the break-off adjusters and oiling holes in the lobes...it came from MPH.

Something odd there.
The cam does not have the extra oiling holes. The rockers are the 'bad' unadjustable ones. They don't show the light weight alloy top spring caps.

I believe the part number of the last hydro recall kit was 3049872 and not 3049870.

Additionally, the kit in the photo does not appear to contain all of the parts required for the last cam recall.  I don't see the "snap-off" valve adjusters; and I think from the picture, you should be able to see at least one oil passage hole in the bottom of those cam lobes; I don't see that here.

Before you buy a kit anywhere, check the parts list on this web site and make sure all the important bits are included.
Good "Eye" Jon! I thought it was incomplete. what you noticed about the cam is interesting too. my Aluminum was updated back in 2007 or so. I wonder if one can tell which cam is in there by looking up into the engine with the sump removed? Probably not...i just wonder if mine has the latest "kit" , though since its been running flawlessly for 26K miles, I guess I should find something more significant to worry about! LOL.

That is not the final fix!!! Rockers are wrong, caps for the springs are a dull finish not shiny(final kit).

I have 1 of 2 left from Piaggio on the bench at work, the final fix. Plus an 'A' kit for a Stelvio.

Yes, but it will take a good mirror on a long stick, and a good light. And a rag to wipe the oil off of your face afterwards.

That should be the latest price, from the numbers I saw.
