More flooding in the Mid West
« on: January 04, 2016, 07:48:07 PM »
Sure hope everyone is alright, it seems like a endless story of flooding and severe weather out that way. Ours is still on the way and if things get as the forecasters are saying, some pretty large areas in NoCal will see flooding.

Don't know how people manage to deal with flooding that wipes out your house.

Decent insurance and Midwestern resilience , One needs to be tough to live in our environment . Hot Summers , cold Winters , tornadoes , a little flooding doesn't scare us much .

I hope they catch a break soon from mother nature. Hopefully Uncle Sam will help out our own for once!  Good time to flick the red cross a little help as well.

Any time I buy another house(7) I consider the possibility of getting flooded out.   Almost did in #6 surrounded by levies but feel safe now.   No earthquakes or tornados around here, but an earthquake ain't that big a deal anyhow(BTDT).  Now that volcanic eruption(Mt. St. Helens) was something to deal with............rep eatedly(ash)!
