^^^^^^Dang hippies. :) I only saw one, (Indy) but it was great.
Same here JL. How many Dead concerts did you get to see? Me-3. js
Two, that I remember. Ann Arbor MI and Atlanta GA. Good times.
Five of us cut afternoon classes, rolled up our Catholic School Blazers and stuffed them in the back of my '63 VW sedan. Drove from Dallas to Austin to see the Dead at the Austin Coliseum. Riders of the Purple Sage opened. Enjoyed the concert and all the accoutrements. Hooked up with some nubile young ladies crashed at their place for part of the night. Left about 3AM.Arrived back at school Tuesday? morning smelling of stale beer, ripple?, various types of smoke, and musk. It was the beginning of the end of my high school career and my life in Big D. Still hang out with the other 4 guys. Two of us eventually moved to Austin. One married one of the girls he met at the concert. It was a golden time. Glad I got to experience it. (and survived)DaveNice yarn Dave, afraid I can't post any of my Dead concert stories on the interneck. Might not be a good idea Galveston
