Naked California or Audace (1400)
« on: February 25, 2016, 10:03:56 AM »
Tinkering in my head... does anyone have any photos or links to photos of the latest generation California 1400 without all the covers on and such (Vintage, Audace, etc.)

Just want to see the frame structure and what's under the skins, mainly the tail section.

Thanks!

I can tell you those hugs plates on either side of the swingarm pivot are cosmetic. The swingarm pivots internally on a huge square crossection tube the is between the main fore/aft spars of the swingarm.

When I had my Cal14, I often fantasized about how you could make it look without all the BS covers. Tank covers, Valve cover covers, aforementioned swingarm pivot covers, starter cover, gaposis covers.

I'd love to see a stripped version as well.
