Seeking a dead Griso dashboard to dissect
« on: March 02, 2016, 11:25:40 AM »
I wonder if any of you would send me a dead dashboard from a Griso. I'd like to open one up to understand it better, but I decided to stop short on my own, since it still works.

What I want to do is an autopsy. There is zero chance of reanimation as far as I know, and that is not my goal. If the dashboard miraculously springs back to life on the operating table, you'll get it back!

BTW, I will post pictures of what I find inside.

I'm happy to pay for shipping.

PM me if you can help.

Thanks,

Moto

P.S. Other bikes used nearly the same dash, so one of those might do too.

The Digitek dashes used on Griso, Stelvio, Mana, Tuono, RSV4 etc are all essentially the same I believe. It's just there are different programmes for different functions and different pin-outs.

I do have a Griso dash somewhere. It is off my 1100 and I replaced it after it started behaving weirdly but this was before I knew about the trick of disconnecting the battery and leaving the ignition on to discharge the memory capacitors so, after sitting for some years, it might of fixed itself. I dunno?

Anyway I'll try and find it. Flick me a PM with your address.

Pete
