I'm asking for a opinion from someone who has the Givi setup!

Looking at pictures (on-line)  it struck me the Givi mount looked (f) ugly without the top-box on while the Guzzi mount had nice clean lines. Like I said, tell me if I'm wrong as I'm looking for a top-box right now. With the Givi you can get more capacity (I think). More is alway's better, right?

Yeah sorry, your point was clear from the start, anyway as you say, the Givi mount is a bit cumbersome to the eye. With a bike that's essentially aesthetically attractive, you don't want something that draws your eye in a negative way. My Norge has the old original setup and probably trumps the Givi outfit in the looks department but as mentioned, the jury's out as to it's security if left un modified, I'd probably prefer the system like yours.

I don't have a top-case yet, still debating. Will I ever run the bike without the top-case? Never did on the old FJR.
